About North Florida Council, BSA

The North Florida Council serves young people within 17 counties of northeast Florida: Alachua, Baker, Bradford, Clay, Columbia, Dixie, Duval, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Lafayette, Levy, Marion, Nassau, Putnam, St. John’s, Suwannee, and Union.

Through almost 6,500 volunteers and hundreds of partners in the community, Scouting Programs are making a difference in the lives of young people and helping them to become the leaders of tomorrow.

We teach ethical values, good citizenship and provide physical fitness programs to enrolled youth. Scouts stay in school, advance in grade level, stay crime fee, and provide 1.000 hours of community service.

Council Leadership is provided by a dedicated Volunteer Board led by Council President Rob Heekin rob@heekinlaw.com.
